Hi, I'm Matthew Vines

I’m the author of God and the Gay Christian and the founder and executive director of The Reformation Project, a non-profit ministry that works to advance the inclusion of gay, bisexual, and transgender Christians in the church while remaining grounded in love for God, the Bible, and the church. (Our tagline is “advancing an orthodox and affirming church.”) I’m passionate about helping Christians and churches reconsider their beliefs in a way that strengthens their commitment to the authority of the Bible and to orthodox Christian theology.
